QuietNite Laser Therapy
A Non-Surgical Approach to Airway Support
Studies show that snoring is often be associated with relaxed soft palate tissue or reduced airway volume. In improving support in these areas by targeting the tissues in the back of the mouth and throat that contribute to these problems, we can help reduce vibration, improve airflow, and support better sleep. QuietNite is a CO2 laser therapy used to treat these soft tissues quickly and easily right in our office with minimal downtime. That’s why Dr. Chisler often recommends it for patients who want a non-surgical treatment designed to improve tissue tone and support more restful sleep. Unlike a removable appliance, QuietNite focuses directly on the tissue itself by stimulating collagen and tightening the treated areas. Moreover, this treatment can also be used as part of a broader sleep or airway plan, including in combination with other prescribed appliances should Dr. Chisler recommend them.
What To Expect During Treatment
At Detail Dental, laser treatments are performed in-office, and the recommended protocol is typically four treatments spaced one month apart. Quick and comfortable, a patient’s treatment typically takes only a few minutes, and they can usually return to normal activity right away. Patients may eat, drink, and resume their day immediately after the procedure.
Dr. Chisler may recommend QuietNite for patients who:
- snore regularly
- feel they are not getting restful sleep
- have airway-related concerns
- want a non-surgical option
- are looking for added support alongside another sleep appliance or treatment
